You know, I don't think I've seen a single teenager, these days, without ear-buds plugged into their ears. I guess It's not all that unusual though. This sort of thing has been happening since the invention of the Walkman. Something that is unusual, I once saw a grown man in the supermarket with music blaring from his cell phone. And this wasn't like a fancy smart phone or anything like that. It was one of those really cheap starter phones that you get for free. It was a really old one too, with duct tape all around it, and the music was just cranked up all the way and coming from the crappy cell phone speaker. Of course, I guess maybe that wasn't that unusual either, considering the area in which I live.
How can there be a different update schedule when it's called The Daily Doodle, you ask? I'll tell you how! The weekends don't count as days, that's how! Also, It's my comic, I can do what I want.
But seriously, The Daily Doodle is now going to be weekdays only. This past year of my life has seen some changes and I'm trying to get a good routine down that will allow me to effectively balance my Freelance Illustration and producing The Daily Doodle while also working a day job and spending time with my Girlfriend. The plan is that I can spend some time on the weekend drawing 5 days worth of doodles and have them all queued up for the week, allowing me to utilize the rest of the week for any Freelance commissions or other personal projects that I'm working on. Also, taking the weekends off from updates gives me a little breather so that I can, hopefully, come up with some better jokes.
I think it's all gonna work out just fine.Posted 21:25
