There was once a time that whenever I told this friend of mine that I didn't want to hang out with him on a certain day or go with him on some kind of silly errand, he would say, "Well, It's better than just sitting at home staring at a wall." ; something I've never done. So, after hearing this from him a lot, it occurred to me that he really thought, that was what I was doing with my free time. Then it occurred to me that he thought that of me because he was actually staring at walls with his free time. My friend has a cat's brain.
How can there be a different update schedule when it's called The Daily Doodle, you ask? I'll tell you how! The weekends don't count as days, that's how! Also, It's my comic, I can do what I want.
But seriously, The Daily Doodle is now going to be weekdays only. This past year of my life has seen some changes and I'm trying to get a good routine down that will allow me to effectively balance my Freelance Illustration and producing The Daily Doodle while also working a day job and spending time with my Girlfriend. The plan is that I can spend some time on the weekend drawing 5 days worth of doodles and have them all queued up for the week, allowing me to utilize the rest of the week for any Freelance commissions or other personal projects that I'm working on. Also, taking the weekends off from updates gives me a little breather so that I can, hopefully, come up with some better jokes.
I think it's all gonna work out just fine.Posted 21:25
