Well, that does it for our week of "punchline" doodles brought to you by my lovely lady and frequent Daily Doodle writer, Rebekah Dolby. I hope you had fun. I know we sure did. And at the end of the day, isn't that what matters most; that we had fun at the, possible, expense of others.
It's about time I did a news post! I've been meaning to for a while but I just haven't gotten around to it. Although, I'm not entirely sure if people are really reading this portion of my website. My girlfriend seems to think that hardly anybody does because they would have to scroll down. She says that most people probably read the comic on their phones and the news section deosn't even load where people can see that it's there. I beg to differ. When I visit websites I always scroll down to see what else is below the main content. It's like a compulsion, but maybe that's because I'm a child of the 90s and websites back then were usually poorly designed and you'd even have to scroll sideways sometimes.
Anyway, perhaps I'll pose the question "Does anybody read the news posts on the Daily Doodle?" over on my Facebook page or something. Feel free to send me an email or a message on Twitter of Faceboook if you do, indeed, read these things.
In other news, If you enjoy The Daily Doodle and my art but don't follow me on any of the social networking sites then you may have missed my call for suggested sketches a little over a month ago. I received a lot of suggestions from my fans and friends on Facebook and sketched them all, with pen and ink, on my lunch breaks. I posted all the results on my blog. You can see all of them right here.
That's all I've got for you right now. Thanks for reading!Posted 09:38
