About The Daily DoodleI started the Daily Doodle back in August of 2011. At that time I was itching to draw some comics more often but was finding it difficult to do with my busy schedule of Freelance Illustration and working a day job, but by golly, I found a way! Inspired by a notepad, I had on my desk that I often covered with silly doodles, I decided to start a one panel comic strip that was drawn on 4x6" index cards. I would just scribble a funny idea on the index cards as quickly as I could and try to capture the same spontaneity that existed on my notepad. It effectively scratched my itch was a lot of fun and it was nice to do something creative every day.
Since 2011 The Daily Doodle has evolved a bit. For the most part it's the same, but It's not always as spontaneous and sometimes I don't even draw it on index cards. I most definitely don't use a ballpoint pen to draw it anymore. It's really just a way for me to have fun doing what I love and, hopefully, entertain some people in the process.
If you'd like to read some of my other comics, you can do so Right Here.
